Geriatric Counseling
Aging brings change—but that doesn't mean you have to navigate it alone.
Later life can bring meaningful new chapters alongside unexpected challenges. Retirement, changing relationships, loss of loved ones, health concerns, caregiving responsibilities, changes in independence, and questions about purpose or identity can all affect emotional well-being.
Geriatric counseling provides older adults with a supportive space to navigate these transitions while maintaining connection, dignity, and a sense of purpose. Therapy can help with concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, loneliness, caregiver stress, family changes, adjustment to retirement, and the emotional impact of changing health or independence.
Sometimes the goal isn't to "fix" what is happening. It's having a place to process change, strengthen coping skills, stay connected to what matters, and continue creating a meaningful life through every season.
